File name format: RYYDDDHH.STT, where: R = CoastWatch Region Identifier YY = Last two digits of the year (99 = 1999, 00 = 2000) DDD = Day of the year HH = GMT Hour (00-23) or other designator = MM, Meterological Model S = CoastWatch Subregion Identifier (unique within region) TT = Type of Product Identifier For example, an SST image of Lake Superior , G9035814.SS1.
If a product is not confined to a subregion within a CoastWatch region, use the synoptic identifier for the subregion.
